I just wanted to follow up on some conversations that have been happening internally re: metrics and statsd. Chris checked in with Travis, and we do indeed have a standard statsd endpoint available on the servers. The metrics are currently being sent to graphite at: https://graphite.shared.us-west-2.prod.mozaws.net/ (Available to MoCo employees only; sorry to folks following at home...) We're working on something better than graphite for the near future, which may mean we'll lose any data we gather in the short term. But we should think about getting some pings flowing anyway, even just for some basic timings like e.g. database access times.
