Yes I did test Ctrl+C, Ctrl+X and Ctrl+V. All work as expected for me in 20.04. Pointer location only occurs if I release Ctrl without having pressed any other key. But I use a simple US layout. Maybe bug 1872230 occurs for you and others due to other layouts. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1956235 Title: Pointer Location (which uses Ctrl key) conflicts with other Ctrl-based shortcuts Status in gnome-shell package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: When activating Pointer Location function, I cannot use any other Ctrl-based shortcuts. Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, Ctrl+X, etc. just stop working because Pointer Location is fired up once Ctrl is pressed. I think that shortcuts should work as follows: shortcut bound commands should be activated after keys are released. (BTW, don't know whether it's OK to write here but I've never had such issues with Windows OS, because no shortcuts interrupt one another there and it's very important nowadays because shortcuts help saving one's valuable time).
