Title:
sane doesn't recognise Brother MFC215c
Status in sane-backends package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
My Brother MFC215c works fine as a printer, but not as a scanner.
Which is frustrating. Sane cannot find it. Is there a simple solution
for this, or must I wade through a lot of code & etc? Easier for me to
keep Windows in dual-boot and scan from there, but I'd like to migrate
completely from Windows. I'm a newbie, using Jaunty (had same problem
with Intrepid) and I've downloaded the appropriate driver and scan
tool from the Brother website ....but still no go. Any suggestions?
