Title:
  timezone search causing autopilot failures

Status in geonames package in Ubuntu:
  In Progress

Bug description:
Our autopilot tests are failing from the datetime panel. The tests
use "London, United Kingdom" as a string to search, which returns no
matches. If you type this manually, the suggestions are correct until
  after entering the comma.

A more obvious example of the issue is searching for "San Antonio,
Texas". As you're typing the "San Antonio, Texas" is the top result,
once you enter the ", " all the suggestions are cleared except "San
Antonio, Tecomitl, Mexico City, Mexico". This makes it impossible to
  select Texas.

It works fine as long as you pick a result from the selection before
the results change, however it's impossible to select very specific
  searches.
