Public bug reported: Fresh install of 16.04 on hardware that ran 14.04 faultlessly. 14.04 has sound, 16.04 not. I can find no problem in the drivers. In the sound settings, the only output device shown is Digital Output (S/PDIF). There is no setting for speakers and headphone. Soundcard is Intel ALC882. Is there a solution for this problem?
