I normally use the laptop when docked to the docking station which is connected to an external monitor (Dell 1905FP). I installed Gutsy a couple of days back and since then, it's not been able to switch to the resolution 1280x1024 (that the external monitor supports). I installed fglrx driver and that works well. I didn't have this issue with fiesty and ati open source drivers. I'll attach a screenshot of how the screen looks on the external monitor. Please revert if you need any more info. -vikas To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-ati/+bug/156550/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
