On-screen errors on awake from suspend

Bug description:
I have a Dell Vostro 1710 running an up-to-date Jaunty and I usually
have an external USB drive with an ext3 filesystem on it connected.
When the system is coming out of suspend when I wake the system up in
the morning after suspending it the night before, the error messages
in the attached screenshot come up on screen.
The external USB partition is /dev/sdb1
