Public bug reported: Ubuntu 13.04 3.8.0-26-generic #38-Ubuntu SMP Mon Jun 17 21:43:33 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux If I unplug my laptop and it discharges to, say, 59%. When I plug it back in the power manager shows the charge icon and the percentage, and says it is charging but the battery never charges. However, if I unplug the laptop then put it to sleep, and then while it is asleep plug it back in, when I wake the laptop back up the battery is charging and the power manager is showing the correct time to full.
