The only way to get rid of them is to explicitly click the folder name in Messaging menu. How to reproduce: 1. Open Thunderbird, switch to any folder other than Inbox. 2. Send an e-mail to yourself, wait until it arrives in Inbox. 3. Switch to Inbox, select the message just arrived so it is marked as read. 4. Observe Messaging menu and Thunderbird window icon. Expected results: After the message is read, Messaging menu is inactive, and Thunderbird window icon has no unread message count. Actual results: Messaging menu is still active (blue), shows 1 unread message in Inbox; Thunderbird window icon shows 1 unread message as well.
