The menu is rendered by the indicator library, that means we can't style
from the greeter. We have to either export something and style in html
from the greeter, or patch the indicator library to provide a style for
the greeter (ugly). The latter will still not work without compositing,
because the menu is a toplevel gtkwindow, thus requires RGBA colormap
through the compositor.

  Make the indicator menu backgrounds in the Unity Greeter 50%
  transparent so that the match the style of the of the header.  See
  attached file "greeter_menu.png", but only look at the header and the
  menu, ignore the rest of this design.
