its very strange that we should experience differences in this behaviour. my install is default...
1, i use IMAP and click on an email in Thunderbird (standard feisty i.e. 1.5x) with multiple attachments. 2, a gnome file dialog opens with buttons cancel and open...it opens with the last directory i saved files in...the textbox for filename is empty. 3, i click open...nothing happens... 4, if i click add directory...then type a name in and then click open again it saves the attachments there... as for having only a single attachment - its name needs to appear in the filename-box...if you choose save as on a single attachment and then change the directory you want to save it in the filename-box is cleared and save button becomes inactive until you type a name in manually... please explain where exactly in this steps we experience different behaviour... thanks -- cant save attachment in existing folder https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/104615 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
