I'm sorry - I am being confusing... I didn't check the bug properly before replying...
But I just clicked save on a single attachment in Evolution (IMAP offline) and the file-dialog which came up contained no filename in the textbox and the save-button did not respond unless i typed a name in... I think maybe this bug should be filed with gnome...it seems that the dialog behaviour doesnt work well Evolution or Thunderbird. 1, it doesnt remember the file-name when changing directories upon saving single attachment from TB 2, it doesnt allow saving of multiple attachment (Save all) from TB in the default directory 3, it doesnt let one save single attachment from evolution without typing in a filename manually. 4, when doing save all from TB the file-dialog counter-intuitively has open or cancel buttons rather than save or cancel... do you want me to file separate bug reports on these issues? on which package should i file them? can you reproduce? if not, which ones are not reproducible for you? thanks -- cant save attachment in existing folder https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/104615 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
