> Config now reports with all cables only 120Hz max, all cables are rated (according to the amazon listing) as 4K 240Hz compatible.
Yeah you can't trust the advertised specs so I would just aim for 80Gbps and hope some of them actually can... > the monitor turns off, then it keeps turning on, then telling me there is no signal, turns off and a few seconds later repeats these steps. Seems to go on in an endless loop. That is usually caused by one of two things: * A monitor turning off is seen as an unplug event, which wakes up the display server a couple of seconds later. * A monitor that supports audio streams may be adding/removing audio devices from the system. At least the first point is meant to be totally fixed in 25.10. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to mutter in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2125825 Title: External display does not wake after laptop lock To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mutter/+bug/2125825/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
