I can affirm that systemd-resolved is not getting its config from
netplan, nor does adding the nameserver in /etc/systemd/resolved.conf
have any affect. The only temporary fix is modification of
/etc/resolv.conf which is of course rewritten on service restart. This
netplan config was valid and working prior to the upgrade, so somewhere
there's a disconnect between systemd-resolved and netplan if I'm
understanding things correctly, please feel free to correct me if I'm
wrong.
