Same as https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome- terminal/+bug/2073881, this is the upstream commit that broke things for Ubuntu: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-terminal/-/issues/8074 . Bypassing the wrapper script with `gnome-terminal.real --class=Foo -- /usr/bin/bash` works, so the issue is definetly with the wrapper script.
