OK, in my case my Lenovo L28u-30 doesn't have option to disable autoswitch.
What I noticed on 24.04, however, is that if I lock the screen with 🪟+L and the notebook (Lenovo P16s) screen goes full blank and then I turn off L28u-30 with switch, it stays blank (so I can save backlight). But, if I leave the system to timeout to blanking, both screens seem to keep their backlight on. P16s doesn't have DisplayPort, I could use one from docking station, but I have old one and the screen is 4K so I'm worried about performance over USB. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-settings-daemon in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1971434 Title: Display powersave only blanks, but does not turn off To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/mutter/+bug/1971434/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
