As another piece of the puzzle, when I try this on my system with my own HTC Glacier phone:
1- This doesn't work at all unless I use the Bluetooth File Transfer app. By itself, bluez on android doesn't appear to support Obex FTP (or it's blocked) 2- With the app running an FTP enabled (once the connection is allowed in): Feb 22 13:17:15 gaea obex-data-server: sdp_extract_seqtype: Unexpected end of packet I've done all this just with the gvfs-mount command, and clicking on the added item in Nautilus (which still triggers, in time, a DBus timeout error message). This seems to indicate to me that there may be further issues at the obex-data-server level that will need to be tackled for browsing to work properly. ** Also affects: obex-data-server (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: obex-data-server (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed ** Changed in: obex-data-server (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gvfs in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/899858 Title: regression in gvfs to connect/browse using obex To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gvfs/+bug/899858/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
