My system (without Firefox installed) is fully updated, and I still experience the problem.
To correct what I said in an earlier comment: My system does have the file /usr/lib/xulrunner-2.0b7/libxpcom.so, but I was wrong when I said that file is part of the package xulrunner-2.0-dbg. According to http://packages.ubuntu.com, that file is not part of any natty package.
