Public bug reported: When I import a DV AVI file (an amorphic widescreen video) in PiTiVi v0.13.5 the aspect ratio of the video isn't correct (and I can't correct it). I suppose it has something to do with the PAR (pixel aspect ratio) which isn't detected. The PiTiVi-developers told me on the #pitivi- channel on freenode that this is a GStreamer-bug. I have the same problem if I try to open the file with Totem using GStreamer.
I don't have the problem with Kino (http://kinodv.org/), so it seems like my files can't be the cause of the problem.
