The solution I described in #64 doesn't work. I had the issue again on my last boot. Now my logout button is gone (it's now a dupe of the clock). Looks like I'm back to old-school 'shutdown -h now' (I swore never to use Ctrl-Alt-Del ever again in my life). This is just plain ridiculous. I agree with post #92, this needs to be fixed now! No excuses. An OS that wants to be taken seriously just can't have a bug like this in 2010.
