I'm getting slightly different behaviour. This is what I did to reproduce:
1. Create user. 2. Log out and log in with new user. 3. Log out of new user account and back into admin account. 4. Try to delete user via "Users and Groups". It warns that the user is still logged in even though they do not show up in the "users" command. 5. Press OK and the user still appears to be deleted.
