I have encountered the same bug with both nautilus 2.12 and now in Dapper with 2.14.1.
It has only appeared when I have had a certain image or video file in my home directory when I have started nautilus and then gone away when I have moved the files (which have worked ok in programs, though) to some subdirectory.
