Type "sudo dpkg --configure -a" in there and press enter It shall ask for a password. Type the password that you provided while installing Ubuntu, and press enter. This should clear the mess created while installing the plug-in and pave way for fresh reinstall of the plug-in. By the way, you did not mention about the event that gave you the error: GStreamer encountered a general supporting library error.
