When trying to open a movie file the computer tells me The playback of this movie requires a audio/midi decoder plugin which is not installed. When I give it the OK to go ahead and install it I get the following message
E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem. E: _cache->open() failed, please report. Unfortunately I don't know how to do the above. If you could give me step by step instructions I would be able to follow them and may learn something in the process Thanks Bob Whale -----Original Message----- From: mistrynitesh <mistrynit...@gmail.com> Reply-to: Bug 401563 <401...@bugs.launchpad.net> To: wha...@orcon.net.nz Subject: [Bug 401563] Re: movie player won't open Date: Mon, 20 Jul 2009 06:50:28 -0000 ** Package changed: ubuntu => totem (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: totem (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete ** Changed in: totem (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Ubuntu Desktop (ubuntu-desktop) ** Changed in: totem (Ubuntu) Assignee: Ubuntu Desktop (ubuntu-desktop) => Ubuntu Desktop Bugs (desktop-bugs) -- movie player won't open https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/401563 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
