Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox
Using 2 UMS digital audio players (DAP - Iaudio 7 & Samsung YP-S3) with 2 different laptops, with Rhythmbox, versions 0.11.6 (on Intrepid) and 0.11.5 (on Hardy), here's what I'm experiencing: The 2 DAP shows up correctly in Rhythmbox and I can move files on them with both system. The problem is that with Rhythmbox on the Intrepid laptop, the options "remove" and "move to trash" (my translation from French) are greyed out in the contextual menu related to a file on a DAP. So basically, with the Intrepid laptop, I can't delete files on the DAP using Rhythmbox, while I can with Nautilus (or any other file manager or the command line). I'm not experiencing this problem with the Hardy laptop, ** Affects: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Intrepid: can't remove/move to trash files on removable media (UMS/USB digital audio player) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/312459 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
