I use a logitech quickCam Express:Bus 002 Device 002: ID 046d:0870 Logitech, Inc. QuickCam Express I have run updates, installed gspca-source, tried LD_PRELOAD...and other workarounds suggested in this thread. Camorama works for me. I cannot get skype or gyachi to work. Both programs recognize the device. Skype will dump if I try to launch the cam. Gyachi reports the device does not support capture.
