No... it's caused by your gstreamer properties most probably.
please run gstreamer-properties and select "ALSA" as default audio output. this 
should work around your problem for now

it seems like you have esd as default but the esd daemon isn't running. 
upstream is currently trying to fix this by falling back to something else if 
esd doesn't work
