I think the main reason you're getting no more information is that: 1) No information has been provided by the developers 2) Most people really affected by this bug have probably switched to another client just like I've done. You need to understand that the bug's been around for years now and that it makes evolution so much of a pain to use when you're effected by it, that switching is pretty much the only viable option (I resisted about 9 months).
