Sebastien: Believe me I tried to provide more information and work out what caused it (to me it seemed to be triggered by copy and paste). It's not a super common bug but when it hits the results are brutal. No one followed up after my Feisty posting and nowadays I doubt I use evolution enough to trigger it with any regularity. I did follow this one through several Ubuntu releases though.
