I've been trying dellLcdBrightness for a while. It doesn't matter if I enter the correct BIOS password or not ("dellLcdBrightness -a -v 1" or "dellLcdBrightness -a -v 1 -p <password>"). My D420 still acts as if it was locked.
Removing BIOS password works perfectly for me. -- [hardy]computer and touchpad is buggy when running on battery https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/189814 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
