So does this mean that ignored settings in gconf-editor are considered a bug or not?
Sorry if I came off harsh, but it seems to me that I was not the one bringing up other tools or options. To reply to your statement that there are some applications that don't show up in the (new) nautilus tab: on my system not one application shows up. But I'll file a seperate bug report on that one. Don't get me wrong, but it tends to get a bit frustrating that I first have to fight to convince your team that something is not working is a bug. Lets just get the bug fixed. That is my main point. gconf-editor settings should work and at this part they don't, at least not completely. -- Hardy: gconf-editor changed settings ignored by system https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/203877 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
