Hi. I had to uninstall it today because I need eclipse for my project and it's the only workaround that works. Till today I was using up-to-dated gutsy version (2.18.1-2ubuntu1).
As I read, java vm is "hiding" its bugs by catching their own segfaults. Bug buddy also catches them and thus make eclipse crash. So what they did to solve is just catching the applications that don't catch the signals themselves. I suffered from crashes many times a day while changing from an opened file to another (not the bug of libgtk2.0, that was due to the tooltips). After uninstalling bug-buddy there's no more crashes (till now). If I can help in any other way, make me know.
