Same problem here. Feisty upgraded to Gutsy, installed kubuntu-desktop and xubuntu-desktop, and uninstalled both since starting to use Gutsy. I noticed that clicking on the 'Close' button works, although nothing happens except the window goes away, and the process terminates (iow: the button doesn't react, but still works).
