Public bug reported:
https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/34016

Affects: control-center gnome-control-center (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
I'm using Dapper 20060307
gnome-control-center 1:2.13.91-0ubuntu3

It is not clear what the "Make default for this computer only" option in
gnome-display-properties (System > Preferences > Screen Resolution) does.
One would expect that the same screen resolution
is used for every user account on the system after setting it but this is not
the case. Each user can have a different screen resolution indepent of this
option. I have no idea what the effect of using this option is in Ubuntu
GNU/Linux?
I only have one computer so making an option "default for this computer only"
makes less sense.
Probably a clearer explanation of this option is necessary. If this option
doesn't do anything in Ubuntu GNU/Linux then it should be removed.
