Thanks for your bug. To open something over samba an application needs
to use gnome-vfs, nautilus only lists those we declare having that
capability (using "%U" for its .desktop by example) so that's not a bug.
You would prefer to list apps that will return an error when trying to
use them just to be coherent? The best way to "fix" that incoherence is
to make the apps using gnome-vfs probably. I'm rejecting that bug, feel
free to open some wishlists for every app which is an issue for you
