After checking with my customers, I think that what they're referring to
is the SMTP header.
I don't think that I can change this but I'll try...

In the SMTP header they see:

Received: from popmail.netrends.com ([65.196.89.161]) by
outboundsmtp.domain.com


I don't think there's a way to change this to pass their hostname.
...FWIW, I don't know why they care about this...
