Using xev on *lenny*, if I press a key with numlock *off* I see state 0x00; if I press it with numlock *on* I see state 0x10. The weird thing is I don't see a matching definition in /usr/include/X11/keysymdef.h. Anyways, I don't think this is a change in X.
