Unfortunately, 6.6.193->6.7.191 is where lots of things have been reworked to add RandR 1.2 support, so this is not going to be easy. git-bissect'ing the old randr-1.2 branch of the upstream git repository could help. But you will have to be motivated to do that :) Maybe somebody else among the developers will have a better idea first.
