Ah, I'll check next time it gets stuck. But anyway, note that
according to xev it is not pressed. What I mean is that if I press i,
I get something like

KeyPress event, serial 31, synthetic NO, window 0x2600001,
    root 0x64, subw 0x0, time 720975848, (99,127), root:(128,213),
    state 0x0, keycode 31 (keysym 0x69, i), same_screen YES,
    XLookupString gives 1 bytes: (69) "i"
    XmbLookupString gives 1 bytes: (69) "i"
    XFilterEvent returns: False

In particular, the "state" is 0x0 and not... 0x80, if I remember well.

You mean, while it is in "alt stuck", I downgrade and I see if it
solves the problem without restarting any program?
