Brice, do I suppose to close this problem (since it's partially fixed with your suggestion) or a coordinator will close the problem... or the bug report will remain open until a complete fix will be implemented.

Your bug is not fixed. XAA is a workaround. Having X hang by default is not acceptable. So I am keeping this bug anyway and I will contact you again to try without XAA next time a new driver version arrives (2.2.1 is expected within a couple weeks).

By the way, looking at your first log, I wonder whether all kernel modules were loaded correctly on your machine. You apparently didn't have any /dev/dri/card0. Can you look in lsmod to see whether the 'i915' module is loaded? If not, can you load it (modprobe i915) and try again without XAA ? Please send the corresponding Xorg.0.log anyway.

Can you please explain what does AccelMethod option do and if you might know what is the reason for the second problem after I've added this option.

AccelMethod defines which 2D acceleration engine is used. The old one is XAA. The new one is EXA (enabled by default since driver 2.2). EXA is better in most circumstances.
