Looks like a GPU lockup. Look in your /var/log/dpkg.log or /var/log/aptitude to see whether xserver-xorg-video-ati or mesa has been updated recently too. What were you doing when the lockup appeared? Anyhow, you should probably make sure that you are using xserver-xorg-video-ati 6.7.196 currently in experimental. It's hard to say whether your problem is related to this bug report, which we don't yet whether it's caused by X or icewm either...
