If this fixes your keyboard, this means that X configuration is fine, but another program (GNOME/KDE/...) breaks it. Otherwise, your xlibs package is not fully installed. I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "fixes my keyboard", as it works fine (?). Do you mean fixes the vt switching problem? Regards, Paul
