I just had my debian - testing system updated with xorg server. My rig is an AMD k7 / 1 GB RAM andVGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc Radeon R200 QL [Radeon 8500 LE]
it starts up just fine, if I them move a window too fast (or in some pattern) the screen turnes into a stripy pattern and for a while I can move a 'block of stripes' using the mouse. I managed at one occation to ssh into the box, the xorg process was using close to 100% of the CPU and it was not possible to kill it. The machine was behaving just nice until the xfree86 -> xorg upgrade.
