after an update of my debian files by dselect a following error-code occured : (with the suggestion to report this to debian-x@lists.debian.org)

The package xkbcomp preinst script should have failed. please report ... to debian-x@lists.debian.org ... I hope someone can help me out here, i can see indeed in dselect that there appears a broken package. So the question is now how to fix it ? thanks a lot !
