I think I've found the problem (grepped with -i this time) - right at the end, there's an entry: Escription-pt_BR: Selecione os modos de v?deo que o X deve usar. If you correct that to "Description" then I don't get that problem any more. (Just a different one instead. But at least it's a change.)
