I wonder what the definition for "Unicode keysyms" would be. While XFree86 doesn't support all of Unicode (no wonder, that's a little big), there are many things that are supported, like the symbols under XK_PUBLISHING (I use doublelowquotemark, for instance), most of which are not in any ISO-8859-* charset, and are probably also missing from most others.
