Well, in the meantime I need to be looking for support for new IA64
relocation types in elfloader.c.  After accepting Bdale's offer to
independently come up with a similar patch to XlcDL.c, he found that the
X server has essentially the same problem that Alpha experienced with
4.2.1-5.
