It is i386, yes.

I will go play with the Win-key's when I get the chance. The odd thing
is I have the same configuration in my config file, and I also have
win-keys, but alt works fine... or might this be some configuration
option in my windowmanager? (I've mapped the win key to a WM feature,
and use Alt in Emacs.)
