And here is a first bug report:

I installed the packages and it seems like the vesa driver has changed
for the worse :(. I'm using it in  a dualhead configuration with a
nVidia TNT (nvidias driver) as main head, and a #9 Motion 711 (s3 Vision
968) as secondary, using the vesa driver.

With 4.0.3 it works fairly well, but the 4.1.0 driver is buggy, there is
an area of about 32 pixels height that is faulty, anything that
enters/is in that area gets its image moved downward a somewhat random
amount, somewhere between 1/3 and 2/3s of the screen, and the area where
the image should be is only the standard X-hatch pattern.

I tried using Option "ShadowFB" "off" but that made the colors got all
wrong, except for the X-hatch pattern.
