I tried Kernel 4.2 from backports, no dice, thing still crashes. How do I
get the new version of nouveau? Backports does not seem to offer any newer
version.
I could compile nouveau from scratch, but it seems to be very complicated
and hairy.
I might also go away from nouveau and use the proprietary drivers again. Do
you know a manual how to easily install them on Debian Jessie? I remember
the process very painful from before, not knowing which version to take and
the machine staying without X for a while, while X failed to start till I
could fix it.
